Well what a day I had today! Went out with Mike today to Romford to finish off the late Christmas that we are having. Finished up everyone's shopping.

All the most curious thing happened while we were waiting for a bus. We had been quietly talking, a few people came and went, an old man, a woman in her 40's and two young girls. We were sitting there nicely just chatting away about whether the oncoming 150 bus is pronounced 1-50 or 1-5-0. I was determined not to start this long standing feud so stated to mike that we shouldn't get into this debate again at which point one of the two girls piped up a "oh shut the fuck up you gays". This shocked Mike and myself. What was it that they assumed we were gay? Surely not my stlyish tuff of hair.

We sat for a second before one of us piped up "oh how grown up" to which the reply was "oh i'll get my brother on you" which was such an empty threat i doubt she even had a brother. Or even a family by the look of her clothes. As no self-respecting family would let their child walk around like that.

After they departed I was joking with Mike that I should of shouted "Just you wait till I can get home to blog this!" to which this post came about.

But in the end we had fun walking around Romford talking the sights and the terrible tracksuits that the young'lings were wearing. We even did typical thing of sitting over a drink in Starbucks. We both ended up having a raspberry frappuccino. Which tasted amazing.

We then wandered some more buying some more where we relised we found the famous picture which looks exactly like Mike. But neither of us was sure what was up with the damn ferret. Do you?

Well i should be festive. This is about as festive as i can get at the moment. I dunno wore it as an excuse to be wearing i think. Just in the mood for being all happy and joyful for the fact that another year is coming and going. Another year, another year of life gone, another year saving up for next christmas. Until, oh wait it's christmas again and we are all meant to be happy and upbeat to the fact that year on year the weather is notically more and more worse due to global warming. I feel somewhat depressed at some points, i know it's probaly something to do with winter and not enough sunlight or something but it feels that each year christmas gets less interesting and more about the fact how if you don't buy a present for someone you won't recieve one next year. And the whole politics off who to give christmas cards to and who not. It times like this when you feel scrooge had it right and felt that christmas was too comercialised and the fact it is around is celebrate something I don't even believe in so this might be just a mindless ramble from me at 1 in the morn of christmas day but next year who knows "bah humbug" may be the saying i will use instead of the classic "you too" i generally give when confronted with "Merry Christmas".

So here it is. Bah Humbug.

Well well another post i have here from flickr. This is a picture from the citizen meet. So far it is receiving alot of interest in just a few hours it's already got 80 views and one person made it a favourite. So anyway keep a watch and check how far it will go :-D
